hi everyone,
i am an img. passed step 1 and 2 90/93.
currently i am doing some of my training in the uk.
i was wondering whether there would be any reason or advantage in doing the step 3.
i would be grateful for any advice.

If you pass Step 3 you will be eligible for H1-B visa instead of J-1
First year of residency is very busy with no time left for study, so your life will be easier if you pass Step 3 before starting residency

Yup. I agree.
Step 3 is good to do before residency to get it out the way. Also you have a stronger application if you've completed the steps. Depending on your visa-issues, an H1B visa is a massive advantage over J1. That is the only reason why i'm thinking of doin step 3.
