when are the admissions open for residency? someone told me jun. is it true? is it only once a year or twice?i was told that to get into residency in 2006 i'll hav to complete my steps byseptember 2005 .when are interviews conducted?someone PLZZZZZZZ HELP ME OUT COZ I WANT TO PLAN THE DATES of my steps.when should i finish both steps if i want to get into residency in 2006?????PLZZZZZ CLARIFY

hi there,
looks like nobody took time to explain it to you so far.

Application process to residency programs starts in september.
Interviews- october-february
Match-March 16 or 17.
Start residency July 1st
Match for residency is once a year

Ideally you should have step 1 and step 2ck /step2 cs done by september, but not necessarily. You should have you ecfmg certificate by february and you are ok. More info you can find on www.ecfmg.org.
