To those who got 99 in their step1 exams, what was your average score in qbank, like for each block?

I got a 257/99 on Step 1. Qbank is a great resource. Some questions harder, some easier - overall, very similar. The most important sections to score well on were the Path, Pathophysiology, Physiology, Micro, Pharm....possibly even the Behavioral Sciences. The most important thing is to be relaxed, confident and have consistency in your exam scoring towards the end of your studying. I was scoring anywhere in the low to mid/upper 80's consistently in combined tests that included the above subject areas.

Hi

just a quick question in regards to the qbank.

When you say you score in that range. Are you doing random questions? Or recently studied topics?

Or doing questions in only certain subject areas.

Thanks for your reply!my question is i'm solving each block alone, and being rated for each block, i'm getting like 43-44 out of 50, for each block , so where u think this will put me?
thank you again for ur reply, i really appreciate it.

Hi I failed with a 71- 172 and i feel that Q bank is only partially good. I think many questions are changed in the original USMLE pool. The style has also changed. I would suggest usingthe New First Aid.

I think the single most Important factor is Integration (recalling information on the same topic in other subjects while studying) which i lacked for some part and a consistent study partner to discuss with. I even think studying each system together is wiser than each subject.
