Im inclined to disagree since her behavior is NOT random and an unpredictable amount of time it seems like she does this every month(after a fixed amount of time.)

by elimination i would say stimulus control as the check up date is the stimulus,
the senario not copatible with operant conditioning, and also it is not desensitization.
