I am a J-1 holder for research associate and wish to accept a J1 for residency training come 2005. I have been a J-1 for the maximum 3 yrs expiring june 2005 and do have a waiver for the 2yr home country.
do i need to go back to country to get the J-1 for residency training for july 2005. pls clarify

Check the ECFMG Website for the best, and most current information on J-1 visas.

hi lionel..i live in romania....i do want to hold a reasearch job for 3 yeaqrs...and after this i want to get involved in a residency program..please tell me how u had recieved the waiver????as far as you worked as a reasearcher?i know that waivers could be obtained as a doctor ...working in some regions in usa?but as a reasearcher how can i get a waiver?
what do you know about gettiong married?they will forget about the 2 years?
