OASIS trick
Step 1: Go to this website: http://oasis.ecfmg.org/
Step 2: Click on the OASIS button at the right
Step 3: Fill out your USMLE ID and password
Step 4: Click on USMLE/CSA Score Reporting Information at the left
Step 5: Check if your score has been reported. ( both of your exam date and score report date must be appeared )
If your score has been reported, go back to h ttp://oasis.ecfmg.org/
Step 6: Click on the ECFMG Home button on the left
Step 7: Click on Interactive Web Application (IWA)
Step 8: Scroll down
Step 9: At the bottom left you will see "Begin new application"
Step 10: Click on "Step 1,2, or CSA"
Step 11: Scroll down and click on "Proceed with IWA application"
Step 12: You will see this:
ECFMG Examination History
Have you ever submitted an application to ECFMG for any examination, even if you did not take the examination?
Yes, and I know my USMLE/ECFMG Identification Number. Yes, but I do not know my USMLE/ECFMG Identification Number.
No, I have never submitted an application to ECFMG.
Step 13: Choose the first option and click next
Step 14: You may have to log in again on the next page with your USMLE ID and password
Step 15: The screen will ask which exam you are interested in. Select the exam you took and click next
DRUM ROLL
The next screen will be in red print saying that you have successfully taken this step and can't re-apply for it if you passed. If you failed, it will let you go on.
Note:
1. OASIS is usually updated on Wednesday at midnight (East Coast time)
2. It is usually updated on the 3rd or 4th Wednesday after you take your test. An exception is late May to early July when most AMGs take the test and there is a delay in score reporting.
3. Once your score is updated on the OASIS website, it means that they have mailed out your score.
4. You will get your score in the mail in 2-3 days usually.

I did the oasis trick and found out i passed earlier today but now i'm even more nervous about how I performed! How long does it usually take to get the results after ecfmg is updated?

If you are not an FMG does this work? I have heard it does but I can't seem to get it to work.
If I go to OASIS link... it asks for USMLE # and password... I have the USMLE # but I Assume they are looking for their system password as my USMLE password doesnt work. I then click the link to establish an account. When I put in my biographic info..it says " Authentication failed: your biographic information did not match what ECFMG has on file. Please try again. "I assume I See this since I have not did a ECFMG application.
How should I proceed to see if this works? or can I not?

For American graduates, go to www.nbme.org and then click NBME Licensing Examination Services, log on from there, then go to Exam status...
The site is updated every Wednesday night so no need to check every day. Also, they won't be sending any scores out next week because of the 4th of July weekend. As a result, expect scores to be delayed. :-(

Thanks Natallia, Today I am very happy as OASIS reported my score and according to the method given by you I came to know that I have passed step 1.Feels great  . Thanks again for the trick. It does work.

hi..
i have a question..
when i checked the oasis they havent reported my scores yet, i took my exam on july 28th..
but when i m trying to register for the step1 exam again..i m able to get into the application..i m scared to death..did i failed...some ione plz tell me..

1) Just tried this, but getting an "Under Construction" message when attempting to view http://oasis.ecfmg.org Anybody know how long this page has been down 'n out?
2) Moderators: are you aware this site doesn't allow one to log in from FireFox? (Or is there some setting in FireFox's options I may have checked/unchecked that blocks this forums functionality?)

How long after you take the exam does the OASIS trick work? A friend told me 1 week (Wednesdays of course) but I think in this it says 3-4 weeks?

Hi blister,
Only after your score is reported on OASIS website,with date of exam and date of score reporting, and immediately after taht you can start checking. The OASIS website updates every wednesday night and IWA/ECFMG (Interactive Web Application) also should be updated for OASIS trick to work.

My score does not reported yet, however i can apply again for step 1 and I was not able to do it few days ago. Does it mean I failed 100 %???
Did anyone has the same problem was it fatal?

Hi I had same experience. check oasis trick only after score is sent .Don't worry,it happened to me My oasis was updated today at 10am and it gave date of 4 Jan for score reporting.then it did not let me reapply

hi nandita... i'm also a path batch student.. where r u placed? which batch? i'm studyin in stanley.. chennai.plannin to write in june. i think u can start wid kaplan.it depends if u've a kaplan centre in ur city.. their notes r d first steps..

I am still waiting on my score, but I have heard from some people that they changed the OASIS system and this trick doesn't work anymore....? Anyone recently try this trick and see if it works?

hi I am waiting for scores too but I dont think it works any more.On reapplying for my step I get this message:
Our records indicate that you are already registered for this Step or Step Component. You may not apply for a Step or Step Component if you are already registered for that Step or Step Component. If you fail or do not complete a Step or Step Component, you may submit another application for this exam, but certain time limits apply when retaking a Step or Step Component.
SO is there any other way
or is the OASIS trick no longer going to help?

The trick does still work BUT you MUST wait until OASIS says your score has been reported: if you try before then it will just tell you that you are already registered for the exam in question.
It took about 5 weeks for Step 1 and Step 2CK taken in London in the week before Christmas, and 6 weeks for Step 2 CS taken in Houston on 17th February.
Written confirmation was about 3-4 weeks after that (not yet received for Step 2 CS).
