one more concern I have is that if I refuse the prematch offer will that program still rank me......I know according to retrovidae they would but many ppl. say theu would not out right.....so i'm a big predicament. hmmmmmm :roll: :icon_scratch: :-k 8-[ :_online_:

did you ask during your interview if they offer prematch and to how many have they offered? i asked..the PD told me how many they've interviewed, how many are left, and how many prematch they've offered..by the way, a friend of mine was supposedly promised to be ranked high..and ended up not matching to any program.

I only asked whether they gave prematch positions and they said yes and that if I'm interested in a prematch I should mention that in an e-mail or smthng. which I did.I think maybe they've already filled up their spots or they are probably anticipating better candidates.

i think if they've already filled up their spots, they wouldn't be interviewing..have you sent your customary THANK YOU letter/email? that's where you could mention that you're interested in prematch.. good luck.

Ah .....I have......sent the thanku e-mail I mean. I just called to my prematch place and nobody is picking up.I just wanted to defer my prematch in favour of the ROL.It's like walking a double-edged sword......and I'm like glad that nobody picked up the phone........sigh....... let's c .
