Thanks everyone for your encouragement. I read microbiology notes over the weekend and did 50 biochemistry Qs from Qbook. Got 84%. Exam is just one week away, I still have pharma, physio, patho and immunology to read. :shock: I will be able to have half day off this Wednesday. Wish I could study full time... :roll:

Woke up this morning with a sore throat. Was praying that it will be over soon. But now it seems getting worse, feeling feverish... :?

I hope for a speedy recovery wombat! I'd say take it easy and read in bed if ur missing work at all for a day or two.

Thanks berk. My fever went up to 102.6F just now. I postponed my exam from 3/14 to 3/17, just in case. My husband first started this cold last Friday, he is still not well yet. So I am not very optimistic to have clear mind next Monday. Happy study to everyone and stay healthy.

thats terrible to hear about your fever. I hope that you get well soon. Good idea in postponing your test date. That will give you some peace of mind during some sound rest. I'm only a 3rd year med student but I know that you should be sleeping and drinking plenty of fluids and not hurting your eyes by posting online!!

Thanks everyone for your care and wishes. I am feeling better now. Took a day off from work. During the past 3 days I read immunology of kaplan notes and around 10 pages of pharma section of FA. I have pharma, physio and patho left, the 3 most important subjects. Will keep doing pharma tonight.

Last night just could not get myself to focus on pharma. So I did kaplan simulation test CD (different one from the online simulation test I did last time) and got 75%. Pharma is poorest, only 59% correct. Now this gives me motivation to study pharma real hard tonight and tomorrow. My friend told me performance is also very important on the day, that's why I still did this test although I don't really have that much time left.

75% is great! A really great simulated kaplan score! you are going to do excellent! I hope that I can do as well as you when I am nearing my exam...wait a minute, I am nearing my exam!!!

3 days left, actually 3 evenings left as I am still working in the day. :shock: I am not recovering as much as I expected, started coughing now. Felt very tired this past Saturday so basically slept most of the day. I only read pharmacology notes, still have 60 pages left. I don't think I will have time to read pathology before Thursday, but do want to go over physiology at least as I need to get familiar with the graphs/formulas. Guess such is life, always need to let go something...

Your big day is almost here ..don't be so anxious..before exams,there is always a feeling that something is missing .Your health is also an imp. issue now..take some rest too as u r still in recovery phase.You had great scores in practice tests..so,just be confident..u will do great in real test too...
