hi everybody,
the wait is finally over and the score i received is 235/95;i would be glad to help answer questions regarding the step 1 exam and preparation especially for those who like me at one point felt absolutely low and depressed regarding the exam; keep up your spirits, if i can do it, anybody can; all the best!

My exam is in two days... On Monday... Please keep your fingers crossed for next week's examinees!
BTW did you do nmbe or qbank/qbook?
It would be great to see the correlation...
I took nmbe1 a couple of days ago, and hough I got a good enough result sometimes I get nervous, worried and afraid of failing this exam...
Anyway... Congratulation again to your perfect scores and for the perfect Xmas gift!! :wink:

Wish u all the very best for the exam; some tips( in my opinion) will be that right now, try to revise rather than learn new stuff. I did an entire revision of the theory, of whatever i had read before, on the last two days; trust me that helps because it helps sharpen your memory and answer the questions of which you know the answers faster so that you can spend more time on those questions for which you have to make an educated guess or even a wild guess! another very important thing, is that think positive; I did panic at one stage of the exam for no reason and did badly in that block; so the golden rule is that on the day of the exam, stay cool, and give it the best shot you can!All the best again,bye

hey mufurc,
i forgot to answer ur q regarding nbme/q bank; i never knew of nbme surprisingly, so i didn't do it; i did kaplan q bank and scored 70% only; i did not do the q book too; i scored an 86% on USMLE practice test
