hello people.here's the issue.
I interviewed somewhere in NY and during the interview they asked me if I would accept a prematch with a J1.I said I'd only take a j1 if i had no other option.so they said I should think about it and contact them though they were not offering me the prematch yet.they said they still wanted to interview other people.i called the pc back and asked if it was possible to get a h1b because i know they sponsor them.i said i would do the premium processing.so the pc told me that it was possible but that i would have to be pffered the contract first and then talk about visa issues.
So anyway i found that they offered someone a prematch with h1.so i contacted them to ask about the status of applic. whether i would still get the prematch and that i would take it if offered.so the pc asked me to make an appointment with the p.d. but they havent offered me the contract yet
my fears are;
why do they want to see me again?my main concern is about the visa.i hope they wont want to force a j1 down my throat because i will refuse the offer if they don't give me a shot at a h1.however if they do i will sign it there and then.am i bound by my interest to accept any offer they give me?I mean,because i have said i am interested,do i have to accept it even if it is with a j1 that i dont want?
if i refuse,will they hate me forever and not rank me because i showed too much interest in the prematch.i would still want them to rank me if i dont accept it.
