Hello all,

Hope studying is going well with everyone. As we all go through the ups and downs of the grueling process of studying for the step 2, its very nice to know that there are people such as you all on this forum to provide support along the way.

Im afraid though, as time winds down for my exam, I cant get a good assessment of where i stand after all my preprations. Ive been doing UW for a while now...doing much better than when I first started out. My cummulat is in the low 60s. Im in the 80s in some subjects and in the upper 50s as my lowest. I took the first NBME test and didnt do as well as I wanted...like we're talking low 400s.

I have less than 2 weeks for my exam and I dont know what to do. The more I do UW the more prepared I feel, but I cant get past the NBME score, esp since everyone says thats the best predictor.

WHAT TO DO????
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

well, only you can decide. Your NBME scores are low. What score do you want on your test. I would say I took my NBME form 1 4 days before my test, got a 530, and read my Kaplan notes one more time (focusing on the subjects the NBME told me I was weak in). Ended up with a 99. So you could study hard for the remaining 2 weeks and take your form 2 close to your exam date. If you are still doing poorly, then postpone your exam. If not, then take it. I didn't do UW, but I think you are doing well with them, and they are supposed to be quite tough.
