All who are waiting for CS results from LA Chicago And HOuston lets start Emailing to ECFMG about our CErtificate
Because as the schedule appears now the first batch will be released in early jan.
now to this we add 2 weeks of processing time by ECFMG so it is already 3rd week of jan
Programs start ranking by 15th of jan, so what do you thinlk they are going to wait for us, max they will call us and ask about our ECFMG certificate if they are really interested in us which is very questionable, most likely they will drop us because we are not certified to go in Match
friends think about the outcome all this interviews spending all this money and effort all wasted.
although this may sound utopian but peoples voice has a lot of power we should all email to ecfmg may be it will help
when 100 people will email may be they will think about it we should understand somebody has to answer for this
we have to change our approach we are not some poor FMG begging for a position in US they need us otherwise they can always stop it.
we all should have a collective voice after all we all are in same boat
please write your views and we can have a email campaign

i agree.i think we should also copy the emails to nrmp and nbme.
i think these are the correct email addy's

we shouldnt send rude emails though because this will defeat the purpose.we should just state the facts and express our concerns intelligently.
to others affected,what do you all think?

maybe I am to cynical, but it won't do any good. We would have to march on their offices in Philadelphia to do any good. They will just say they are doing their best, blah blah blah, they are not responsible for us missing deadlines. We should have had all our exams done the year before.

no retro you are not cynical you are just giving up and why should we have given exams last year, if this change from CSA to CS was supposed to take place why did they not forewarn us about possible delays
the mail they sent us was very vague about finishing up till dec 31st or may be little earlier for FMGs to be certified in time for match
guys they are going to certify us before the deadline but tell me how many programs are going to wait for us and rank us.
give it a try may be it will help
you know such changes do not take place in a day i mean from CSA to CS so much research must have gone in it, I suspect something else is fishy
They have already pushed our dates for result relase once from dec to jan and again if they do then what are you going to with your cynicism

actually blal,there is no guarantee that they will release houston results by the deadline talk less of certifying us.here is a quote from the latest update
''For examinees who tested at the Los Angeles and Chicago centers, the
reporting of results will begin in early January. For examinees who
tested in Houston, reporting of results is tentatively scheduled to
begin in late January to early February.''
Note the language,LA and chicago results ''will'' be ?released in jan,houston results will ''TENTATIVELY'' be released in late jan to feb.
Houston test takers(me inclusive),consider yourselves screwed.

you know bims I totally understand your position this is what I am trying to bring up on this forum a sense of kinship since we all are in same shit sorry for my language its my frustration
Yes tentatively is a shady word no gurantee but the deadlines for rank order list is 23 feb for progs so dont loose heart may be just maybe they will wait for you.....
and for now write to ECFMG or NBME or USMLE
