congrates to you on yor success.i also appeared for step-1 but couldn't pass.i did kaplan q bank one mths & theory from BRS path,kaplan notes,could you please suggest me what i shd improvise in my study this time?doing alot of questions is good or making theory solid?
how much time after previous step-1 you took this exam again?

MLF, is it true that Oasis update is made in the third Wednesday after your exam date? I gave the exam on december 2nd , which was thursday..This means that I have to wait almost four weeks , isn't it?

Thank you archasha for your wishes. Don't lose hope, my frist time, I didnt spend too much time doing qbank, even tho i did it, but it was random. I spent about 3 1/2 months studying the second time, and in my opinion, you need to understand the theory first before starting questions. I read from various sources, biochem and genetics from kaplan, path from BRS, physio from BRS, immuno from kaplan, Micro from MMRS and Anatomy/neuro/embryo from FA. And then I would keep doing path BRS over and over and as I repeated before, from all these sources, if a topic from them was in FA, I would write my own notes of it in FA which helped me a lot. After I finished my first reading of all this, then I started doing quetions till the end, and I only did random 50 questions not subject wise, but near the end, i did some behavioral and path questions subject wise. I had 3 months of qbank, so that helped a lot. I suggest you read whatever it is your comfortable reading and take notes in FA and then keep reading FA again and again along with anything else you might be weak in, like for me it was path thats why i kept reading the BRS over and over. I think you can do it, and of course dont forget listening to goljan, he is amazing. I wish you best of luck.
MMM - For me oasis was updated on the fourth wednesday and I received my scores on that friday. I think you should wait about four weeks and then check that wed on oasis and you would then receive your score on the friday. I wish you all the best.
