glutamine enters kidney from other tissues carrying ammonia and glutamate.Glutaminase acts and releases ammonia.Hydrogen is secreted by kidnay which combines with ammonia to form NH4+ ion which is lost in urine.Will this produce urinary acidosis or acidosis in blood?
