Hi,
I am doing M.P.H in University of California Los Angeles. Can anyone tell me whether M.P.H would make a difference in getting a residency.

MPH is very useful degree. I don't know how it impacts match but many clinicians in fact got this degree after practicing for some time. It helps with clinical trials etc. This is all I know. Good luck.

yeah, it will help.

Do you think that the G.P.A of M.P.H will matter?

yes, this is your chance to prove you can do well in the US system. Besides, you are in graduate school, everyone should get a 3.0 or higher. But ... now that I think about it, there is no space for your MPH transcript in your ERAS application. I guess you can just write in your GPA in the section for honors if you do well, and not mention it if you don't.

Hi,
It means that i cannot send my M.P.H transcripts in ERAS system but I can mention about the G.P.A in the application. I have a 99 / 96 score in USMLE with a 3.7 G.P.A in M.P.H. What are my chances of getting a residency? what are the top 10 residencies for internal medicne in U.S which sponsor H-1?

Hi,
I am currently doing my M.P.H at UCLA. Is there any way I can send my M.P.H transcripts through ERAS? If not, can I mail the transcripts to all the programs by myself? What is the procedure of sending the medical school transcripts through ERAS? Does the medical school transcripts has to be send by my medical school in India?

Please can anyone answer my above mentioned question?

you cannot send MPH transcripts through ERAS..it's not necessary in the application process, but you may want to mention your GPA in your personal statement..med school transcripts? you may send them to ERAS if you have a copy..or you can ask your school.
