hi guys,
i have recently atarted studying fr USMLE and i have kaplan series and its video lectures ONLY (no BRS, goljan........ etc) :cry: is that enough ??

you should get goljan, too.....i think his audios are great, the high yield pages are not sooo important
i assume you have first aid? if not, get it
othe rthan that, i cant tell you anything about kaplan, cause i didnt use it...
its good if you choose one source though and stick to it....maybe get alternative books for subjects that you dont like in kaplan

the key is to read wht u have well...there r ppl who have'nt toched kaplan and have done well and there r others who did only kaplan and performed well...so stick to one source and do lots of Qs...dont miss out on FA gr8 for last revision and also do Qbank..and yeah thou i cudnt listen to all of them goljans audios r definitely helpful..stay cool and best of luck

thank u so much for yr reply its really helpfull and incouraging sorry malu i forgot to mention that the only thing i have other than kaplan is goljan's audio lectures, i meant other "books" and yeah i also have first aid .

I haven't taken Step 1 yet, but from what I gether those sources should be enough. Some people have mentioned that Kaplan doesn't feel detailed enough for microbiology and for autonomic NS physio and pharm, but I'm not sure if it is worth getting too many reference texts.
Also, in the last three months or so of your revision period it's wise to get QBank.
