could it be the increase of cGMP by activation of guanylate cyclase.. then the phosphorilation of myozin light chain kinases which becomes inactive and the subsequent relaxation of the smooth muscle in the blood vessels from this level. i think its one of the effects of NO. look over the pharmacology of viagra?!

Thats it. -GOOD! NO :arrow: guanylate cyclase :arrow: increase in cGMP As you say Viagra inhibits termination of cGMP by inhibiting cGMP phosphodiesterase.

yes. exactly. viagra inhibits phospohosdiesterase which is responsible for the degradation of cGMP, so that it increases and it allows blood vessels to relax, increasing blood flow in corpus cavernosum
