Hi I am a graduate of Shaheed Beheshti Univ
My diploma was sent for verification back on
Oct 2004 and ECFMG received the verification
in Mid November. I checked the OASIS today
and I expected that my Credentials be verified
by now (close to 4 weeks), but I found it was
again RESENT, Anybody knows the reason???
Even when the paper work reached university
for verification, I also asked them to verify and
seal a copy of my Transcripts in Farsi and
its official translation and send with those so
as they don't do the transcripts again. But I guess
they haven't noticed that, Any idea??????
Any timeline and experience is appreciated,

you have to call ecfmg and ask them what happened because i have no idea from your post.they are sometimes confused at ecfmg though.

I guess you are right.
I got a letter from ECFMG today that the resonse of my university to their verification request had been INCOMPLETE, so they have sent another inquiry. I am sure they meant the TRANSCRIPTS was not there. The person whom I talked in my university told me that they had not only verified the diploma but also had verified the copy of transcript in original language and also had verified the original english translation. What else these people want. Maybe they really love to make this process long or they are really confused.
I sent a fax to ECFMG today. Do you think I need to call too???????
I asked them to look at the documents once more because my university officials insist that they had done that.

OK I called ECFMG today.
They told me that they have received the Diploma and the transcripts and they are all fine but there is a place on the form that they send to medical schools. They want the medical school officals after filling out the form check one box down the form that yes they certify this and that..... She was saying that box was not checked and we had send the form back...... JESUS... they see all things are verified and sealed by the University official seal, yet they need that checkmark, whatever......Hope this goes smooth.........

Hi,
I am an IMG from Mumbai, India.
Wish I had read your post earlier, I have had a similar experience.
Only that after my medical school received the resent documents they kindly refilled the form and sent an original medical school transcript as compared to the verified transcript they sent originally. Both the times they verified my medical school diploma.
This time I am sure they have ticked all tiny boxes/brackets.
Wish I too had called up, maybe i will call them now.
please keep us posted about the final outcome.
