would a neonate have lymphcytosis???

No, since the reference range is higher for neonates (I believe that the upper limit is 10.0*10^9).

hmmm, I'm really confused about this, because a neonate immune system is not devloped at all (we can't even give them vaccines till two month (most vaccines)).... so neonatal immunology would be completely different than ours.... I mean a t-cell has to be made in the bone marrow, differntiate in the thymus, and occupy a lymph node.... and I don't think all this can happen before birth can it??

Neonates do have T cells; it can even be found in cord blood.
