Theoretically you can work as a physician assistant under another physician licence. Realistically it is a lot of responsibility for a physician to hire an unlicensed person. So it would be very hard to find such a job unless a good friend of yours would hire you. I know IMGs who worked as telemetry technicians and pharmacy technicians while taking the tests. One worked in medical records, two more worked as nurse assistants while taking the tests.
