anyone interested in in scheduling a chat session for step2?
as many people taking the test I would think there could be some very helpful things for all of us
we now have a new forum for chat transcripts, that even if our time sched's does not always match , we could study the topics discussed if you missed the actual chat time.
I would be willing to post the transcripts in edited form that only covers the actual q's and a's and thus present just the facts,- minus the chit from the chat :wink: if anyone would just copy the sessions and email them to me , which can be done by the icon next to the sound icon.
The sessions previous was not documented 
and now we have a new oppurtunity that will be helpful to all
any interest :?:

may I suggest
OBGYN
then IM
then Psych
then surg
and work through the list?
bring your Q banks, High Yields, crack the books
and let's knock this S2 outta the ballpark 8)

Seems like no ones really taking the initiative to set anything up....as far as timing goes.
helpinhunny, if you dont mind, since youre only going to be documenting the discussion, would everyone else mind it too much if we started out with Medicine, and throw in Peds after OB? If this is okay with everyone, then may I suggest a meeting time of 8pm or 8:30pm EST till whenever.
We can either start today or tomorrow with discussing Endocrine and Hem/Onc. Based on how the discussion goes, we can adjust the meeting times, and what topics are to be covered etc.
This is merely a suggestion, if anyone else purposes something else, by all means.
Hope to start chatting soon.

Hey,
I like the idea of starting with med first and then peds. In a way it also helps those who are taking CS first b/c it helps u figure out diff diag and lab work.........i donno just a thought.
how about sunday at 8:00 pm est. I am in.

the topics was just a suggestion
we do have to keep in mind that on Monday evening the 13th
the step 1 chat is sched--
which means that we would have to move from the main chat room to step 2 room- the main room is a good idea to be anyhow since that is where you enter.
why dont we do this-
announce this on other boards
valuemd
usmle.net and some yahoo groups
and get a few more people in- so that we can pool from other resourses?
also-how long do we cover topics?
4 day intervals? for each topic eg- Meds, Peds, OB/Gyn that way we really cover some materials ,give everyone a chance to get in on it. and then rotate and recycle after we went through them and start back with Meds- again giving everyone a chance to study and be helped and encouraged and thus helping our selves retain
I am glad you guys are really gung ho on this!!

and I can post transcripts and email you the q's and a's oxy if you you want-- trying to be sensitive to everyones sched- and also help everyone- even those who may join in the future  as well as reviewing when sched's allow

Helpinhunnythruit...i have read your article ....it's funny! :lol: I have such a problem to memorising and organizing my thoughts ....perhaps it's from my excess tea???? :lol: if then i better try to cut it down even a litlle bit....so starting from now no more tea in every break! ..well that's gonna be hard!

Hi guys,
helpinhunnythruit- I wish i had the post for the chat on sat. oh well, i guess i missed it...i dunno when the next one is schedule. do let me know... and about hte timing, seriously any time is fine for me just would like to be part of sharing knowledge or morelike learning from you guys.
Elm - i live off of tea, how could you sstop drinking it ( i mean you should if its that bad for ya) but, i think i'm gonna ignore the facts for now. i love my tea too much, maybe after usmle....nah, i think after residency. ;o)
