Dear Firends
I have been silent observer of all the forums of usmle availble on internet. I started my preparation last year, and traveld on all roads to get good score but i am a looser ](*,) I dont know this score is ok for residency or not.But listen my all dear friends dont rely on kaplan or first aid There were many Qs on my exam which were from Lippincot and Robbins Pathology, While moving thru blocks at some poin I thought the test center people have mistakenly placed me on Step 2 test, b/c there were many Medicine,surgery,urology,and gyne obs type qs. I was very well prepared to score 90%, every body were saying me I am gonna make 99.But truth is must must review other books, I did study all the books but in last I made blunder by not revising them. So following material I would highly recommend for all of u:
Kaplan Lecture Notes...Know them by heart you must know every thing
Lippincot for Pharma, for CT nad MRI I found a good book from library, for slides I reveiwed Robbins Pathology and it really helped me, b/c i did few qs within 3 sec just at looking at pictures and it were same from Robbins. Dr Edward Goljan is a must for Step1 I listened his lectures more than 10 times and it really helped me and also his book read it at once or twice. Mind real exam is totally different any Q source I did found few exactly same Qs from Q book. but rest of exam was different. Epidemiolgy and Biostatics was totally different from that of Kaplan, I used kaplan, HY, BRS.
I will write more on this if all of you wanted me to ..... but please help me if you have friends in usa...about this 201/82 score...is it good enough or will help me to get into residency? HELP ME <:help:>

Hi Dr. Ali,
CHEER UP. I am very sure you will get into residency of your choice. Yipeee you passed & that's all that matters. My sister & I know a lot of friends & relatives who are now into residency w/ 80's score even 75/75 for both steps. there's nothing to worry about

Your score is fine, but you need a better score for step 2 to increase your chance.
BTW, what are the scores of your Q-Bank and NMBE?

hello in case you dont know this is a SUPPORT forum many people
read and write messages that didnt pass okay you should be ashamed of yourself for writting that if your score is okay and that the test was
so hard :x

How about Gray's ANatomy? Why not do Kaplan notes, First Aid, Robbins, Lippincott, and finally GRAYS? heheheh ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)
