hi all, can't sleep it's already 2:35am. Anyway glad that youre going along very good w/ your studies Yong. in your query niti, i decided to do biochem 1st bec it was my weakest point based upon my exp. during school days. I am trying to familiarized myself w/ the enzymes, codons etc etc . I know it would take lots of my time later in my studies so I decided on my weakest area 1st then hopefully by week of the 17th ill jump to anatomy. I will finish the dreadful subjects then. I noticed that you have been studying so diligently & that's a good motivation for us too. Keep it up... Keep the questions coming Yong.. Have a Good studying guys... meanwhile I have to sleep...

hi guys/gals, Have a query??? I ordered Kaplan DVD/CD for Kaplan audio lectures from this forum, would you know if the Kaplan review series (KRS) would be the review book for it? The KPS was given to me by a friend who used it in her Kaplan review center prep. Its by organ system not by subject. Hope to hear from you all & hope you have an idea about these materials as these are my #1 sources. thanx.. Have a good day!!

The correct answer is ............. E. Kerochi, you are ready for the test. Initially I got the wrong answer. Barrett's esophagus. I overlook the hint in the Q. No any words about relux . Here is the word in FA," Glandular (columnar epithelia) metaplasia--replacement of nonkeratinized squamous epithelium wiht gastric(columnar) epithelium in the distal esophagus)." BARRett's= becomes adenocarcinoma results from reflux.

Hi Kerochi Good to hear from you buddy. I haven't tried QBank yet, but I've heard that it's a good way to test your learning. Currently I'm testing myself with QBook, but I've heard that that's inadequate. Byeee Moc

hi, how are you all doing? I am sure everyone's now adjusted to the routine of studying everyday. i have been reading & finished first reading of Biochem. What a tough one to start.. Not an interesting subject for me but I tried hard plus the way of getting used to frequent reading... I am up to it now Thanks God. Started Embryology 2 days ago Yipee.. & at the same time watching Kaplan lectures. I am following the outline from Kaplan so I have a firm guide. it's overwhelming but i think I have all the recommended stdy. materials now.. Good luck to all esp to friends who will be facing the exam this month!! have a productive day!!

Hi everyone, I have been "hidding" from you. Just kidding. I start feeling some headache once a while. Somewhere I read someperson start seriously reading three month before the exam. Then average reading time is 10-14 hours. Suddently I feel "panic" then add my hours from 6 to 11 hours. That might be where the headache is from. Anyway I have learned more and more since then. It worths it. Good luck on your study.

Hello Team How is everybody? Had a hard-working start to the week? What are we all studying today? I'm still revising for my college exams but did look over glycogenolysis again. Zhouyong: Good to see you again, buddy, and glad to hear you've got a lot done! Take care of yourself though, yeah? I would say it's better to judge yourself by how confident you're feeling with the material and your marks on questions than looking at how many hours you are putting in compared to others. Ok, back to work. See you soon! Moc

There you go YONG, I was wondering where were you. Hope your headache's gone. Relax .. okay I mean get enough sleep in between your review. Its good that your getting a lot done. Now I have to work harder to catch up with you.. in a positive way. As of now i will be starting w/ histology. Im done w/ first reading & watching video with Ana & embryo & Biochem. I do First Aid in between . It makes you panic but its amazing how easily we could grasp the topics when listening to lectures again. I just hope I will have time to revise all my notes later. Hi Moc, yes everyone's studying hard.. hope we'll get more done this week.. hi to all...

hi to everyone... well my morning is a productive one today. Not much distraction. Studied from 10:30 to 2:00 today , im finishing up abdomen... Got to join a little for the chat discussion w/ niti & it's amazing there were a lot of participants today. Good going niti!! This pm I will start my scheduled histology by watching Kaplan lectures for 9 hours. I will finish it until tomorrow. I read the general principles on histo. I think going thru this everyday will help me in finishing my schedule. Im following the Kaplan schedule for now, found in the video companion guide. See you tonight... lunch at 2pm.. yipee..

hi all, i thought i was done w/ anatomy... i still have the other parts undone.. so I have not started my histo as I scheduled... This am is another "good morning" for me.. Able to finish up pelvis, CT's of abdomen, upper limb... i also did 50 Q's last night so i think it's good.. Will have lunch now it's 1:30pm & will continue studying later.. Seems like I feel so guilty if I don't study at all so there I go I am in the groove of studying.. That was my cue that i have to keep up with all of your readings guys.. Have fun reading... My schedule this pm is to finish up w/ lower limbs & hopefully start my histo.
