which overthe counter drug taken foe pain causes constipation and mild urinary problems?
1.ibuprofen
2.aspirin
3.diphenhydramine
4.gauienfesin

I think it should be diphenhydramine (as it causes constipation and urinary problems) .

diphenhydramine due to anticholinergic and H1 blocking??

diphenhydramine does have anticholinergic side effects (along with sedation) it may cause also constipation
but... i don't know if it is an over the counter medication for pain (it's an H1 antagonist ) :roll:

uses i know for H1 antagonists are for allergy protection & motion sickness (1st generation only)

Diphenhdramine (Benedryl) one of the most popular meds in this country is sold over the counter for colds, urticaria, allery, sedation etc.
Its the prototype 1st generation antihistamine/most of the experiments were done with this. Its Not known as an analgesic. I dont think of ASA causing constipation the only one left is ibuprofen.

Ibuprofen causes both diarrhea and constipation.
