1)Kaplan doesnt play that!
2)Kaplan is a fairly powerful educational instituion.(as ya see worldwide)
3)We are lucky this entire web site wasnt SHUT DOWN!/like another one
was!
4)Ive said over & over & over again-There is no easy way into Medicine in
the U.S.
5)An alternative-Law school/only one measely Bar exam versing 4 or 5
in Medicine.
6)There is not a da-- thing free!
7)Whoever posted that it would have been more intelligent to make just 1
post instead of numerous similar posts.
8)One saying in the U.S. "If it looks to good to be true,it probably is!!"

Dear mjl1717, thank you for your post. first of all that link did belong to kaplan. and it was free. secondley, the reason I sent numerous posts about it was because I wanted everyone in the forum get a chance to see it and use it. the only reason I deleted the link was solely to repect a request from a user on this forum who was not happy about it being puplicized. I agree with your no pain no gain idea, but in a situation where I want to go to the top floor of a building, if I saw an elevator, I'd take that rather than walking up the stairs. afterall helping others is not to be blamed.

i couldnt even use the supposingly good free website.....it never finished the eternal loading thing.....was it my computer or the table of contents was the only thing we were allowed to see? :roll:
i wasnt expecting to find such a fortune on the net for free anyway...

it loads easily and it works too. i appreciate dr kazem for posting it. and i agree with dr kazem s statement [in a situation where I want to go to the top floor of a building, if I saw an elevator, I'd take that rather than walking up the stairs.]
i too have paid money to kaplan for it but i dont feel malice toward anyone who got it free. luck matters. had i known the link before i paid kaplan then surely i would not have paid for it. its obvious. we are not here for checking piracy. lets be fair in this survival game. and also let candidates who are from not so priveleged countries or are unable to afford quality materials be given a fair chance to prove their ability. let not the deprivation of study material be a strategy to get advantage over candidates outside united states who are sacrificing so much for their goal in which winning is not a matter of luxury but is mandatory for survival.

sure, nothing in the world is free... and i aslo agree that there is no short cut to medicine... u've gotta do the work cause it pays to be the BOSS... however, i was under the impression the whole purpose of this forum was to help eachother...if that FREE WEBSITE helped someone out then more power to the person who posted it on there... D
as far as MJL1717 getting all worked up over the moral/ethical aspects of viewing such a site shock ... i think we are all (hopefully) old enuf to make that decision for ourselves... |
i dont have a problem if that website isn't available... that website was just a convenience... and thats all it merely was and i strongly feel that it was not a waste of time...

I think my signature on the bottom of my post says it all
and I also think that if any said inst. puts up a free info site, then it is up to them to delete it, make it available or unavailable, and that is no disrespect toward Kazeem whom I value, nor the person who requested it to be deleted nor to anyone who has a problem with how much they paid and someone gets something free or shared with them
I have been to third world countries, seen naked starving babies sleeping on the streets and rats around around- and prayed to God Almighty to help these people- and I have also seen the conditions and illequipment medical facilities, and people who believe in what they are doing is humane to help others
America is different, is more about
first question-
what insurance do you carry- how will you be paying for this?
I can say that I am a American , born and lived here all my life, witnessed hurting people turned away because they could not afford medical attention THAT IS WRONG !!!!!!!!
I also think I have said too much- besides this helping people is not a crime
and if you don't believe in helping people- please don't bother taking the exams
get a honest job
I wonder if they bigger salarys and nicer things was not involved, and a doctor or any medical worker made as much as a street cleaner would you still do it?
I thought it was a high esteemed position to help people and serve people a solemn oath. a sacred field
please do not misunderstand me here- I just have a heart for this I am not a high horser, nor a soap boxer
but greed, money, cost,jealousy, price tags is not the main thing
helping and serving people are- there is not a greater joy nor reward than that
