Ill cover 1 trend of thought:
Hopefully covering Cushing, corticosteroid and estrogen.
They cause a moderate degree of fatty acid mobilization from adipose tissue. Usually this fat occurs in certain areas of the body causing the moon face or buffalo hump. * Fat is generated in certain areas of the body more rapidly then it is mobilized and oxidized.

Ill take insulinoma also:
Insulin is an anabolic hormone:
decreasing triacylglycerol degradation. This done by insulin decreasing the level of circulating fatty acids by inhibiting hormone sensitive lipase in adipose tissue.
Insulin increases triacylglycerol synthesis
Insulin provides the substrate glycerol 3 phosphate for triacylglycerol synthesis. Insulin increases also increases lipoprotein lipase activity of adipose tissue, providing fatty acids for esterificaiton.
Someone else can take the rest!-cretin, pituatary and hypothalamic.

cretinism

this is caused by HYPOthyroidism after birth... basically, the brain isn't fully developed and because of no TH, the baby will become a cretin (someone who cannot commit a sin in Latin--thats how the name cretinism got coined)... anyway, i'm guessing hypothyroidism would decrease BMR and cause them them to be obese... but thats really stretching it! ?

the hypothalamus control the most of the pituitary (thru negative feedback)
Ant. Pituitary secretes FSH, TSH, GH, ACTH, LH, and Prolactin
Post. Pituitary secretes Oxytocin and ADH

so they are all somehow inter-related...

anyway, thats my guess... anyone can correct me if i'm wrong... )
