DM--->lack of insulin/lack of insulin sensitivity--->decreased cell uptake of glucose---> no glucose to cell function normally--->body makes glucose by other means such us B-oxydation of fatty acids----> increased lactic acid + ketons---->Lactic asidosis..... by very few words ......it's basic science fundamental
