I didn't use it, I only used Kaplan notes. But, I would say use CMDT on any medicine topic where you feel you are not getting a good understanding from whatever other source you are using.

Hi, I have the same confusion. if CMDT is read page by page, it will take forever. since I have taken step one and read crush step two, I am going to read CMDT selectively in a limited time . what do you think of this idea? ] know Kaplan is a pretty good resourse for step two, but I am currently out of state, and have no access to Kaplan lecture. There is few kaplan notes on ebay and classifield (http://www.usmleforum.com) because of the copyright. Do you have any suggestion to get them?

I use currents for when something isnt explained well enough in kaplan, or if I come across a question that tests a concept Im not comfy with. I have, however read the chapters on HTN, Heart, arthritis/mus-skl dz, and GI. I spend most of my time with Kaplan and UW as my main sources. Good Luck.
