I'm using Kaplan webprep which includes Lecture notes & QBook. I find them really good (practical approach with lots of drawings). It's subject based. I don't have Kaplan Home Study books but I would presume they are similar in content just organ based. To be sure, check kaplan website. Regards.

Hey my view is that just reading the notes is enough. I did video and notes for step I, but because the videos take so much time, I only watched half of them before giving up and reading the books. For step II I didn't even bother with the videos. Really, everything is in the books. The only advantage to the videos is reinforcement. So if you have the time (6 months) videos are good. But if you just sit and memorize the notes, you could finish your studying in a couple of months.

I agree with retroviridae. Video and web lectures are all reinforcements from the lecture notes. It is good if you have the time. I got Kaplan webprep without reading other books. You'll understand the web lectures more after reading the lecture notes. Unfortunately, you only have limited access to the web lectures, so you'll have to zoom through the lecture notes in 2 months!
