HI. I have seen here in US 2 of my friends , graduated in 1991 and another one 1978 , both got residency last year . my situation is some thing like you ,IMG ,graduated 1995 and practiced GP and in a hospital ,for several years . I know that thre is a difference between me and a young 26 years old medical graduate from a US school , I meen he is younger , fresh with basic science, english not as a second or third language, and probably the factor of addaptation to the town and every thing else , are on his or her side , but still , he has his chances , and you and me our chances , and I think it is fair too. DO your job , study hard be hopefull , GOOD LUCK.

Thank you for leading me AAzad, I am positive and hopeful too and as you said,we have the same situation and lower chance than the USA physitions but you know passing exams and get a high score depend upon to our attempt and need to be hopeful and positive while to get a position it depends on the USA hospitals and out of our attempting. By the way I have a question to you. What and where do two feriends of yours get a position? best regards

Guys this is really good news. I knew a woman who just finished her residency at the age of 51-52.. She is now into her 3rd year of practice as anesthesiologist.
