hi guys i use to visit this forum sometimes.i took my step1 on oct 29 got my results today. my score is 234/95. i am happy.these r the materils i prepared.
kaplan material for all subjects.
goljan review book-pathology.
kaplan q bank-79%score
kaplan q book.-80-90%

i studied for 6 months&seriously for last 2 months.studied for 12hr/day.kaplan material is all the books given by kaplan

Hi Sujju,
Can you please tell me if you used BSS series?? If yes, did you find them helpful. Also, if you dont mind, can you tell me how many times you revised Kaplan books,as I too am doing just kaplan books and Goljan text and Qbank. Thanks and congrats on an awesome score!

hi ddd i bought bss series on someones advice.but i did only 3 books whenever i feel like.u can learn from them.but i think they r not that useful.if u have time u can do them.i reviewed kaplan books 5-6 times.

i envy you.
i reviw the Kaplan 2001 books these days first time.(with Web prep)
i almost did one read of all books except Behavioral science and Pathology.
but right i can't remember thing i did weeks ago, sometime a day ago.
How could you repeat Kaplans 5~6 times? really Gr8t!
AS YOU DID REVIEWS AS THE SPEED OF REVIEW BECAME FASTER THAN BEFORE?
i'm asking the very logic of study,but i'm curious.

hi i used only kaplan for anatomy.
hi lim u will fell like that only as if u don't remember any thing.i have the same feeling just before my exam.with no.of readings u will increase ur memory of material&speed also.good luck.

although it might be a little bit late, still want to say "congratulations". I just started to prepare my step 1 exam. I am wondering if the Kaplan materials means the review books called "Kaplan Medical USMLE Step 1 Home Study Program" or something else?

i wish all all the best &happy new year.kaplan material means the books given by kaplan only.in my opinion is better to give equal imp. to all the subjects.start with studying goljan because it covers all the subjects littlebit.

My sister just completed MBBS ( Results came last month) and is in India. I am in US and am ready to help her to get her here.

I am thinking that she should take USMLE Step 1 right away while you can still read 12 hours a day and retain it. What would be the best materials I can send her.
Please advice.

Congratulations!! I guess it will be one of biggest gifts you have got. You deserve it. Congratulations again.
I have a question and I am going to take it around April. I have done my first reading on Medical Independent Series,two times on FA. Now I am reading Kaplan note thoughly. Wondering how you did it. I am reading through and I guess I don't remember too much. I have to do some tests to reenforce my memory. I feel sorts of wasting time by my reading method. Any good suggestions?
