The answer in technical terms is NONE. ZERO. there wont be generation of any ATP in TCA cycle, but there will be generation of other reduced coenzymes from it. Which will generate ATP in ETC. From 1 molecule of acetyl CoA entering the Citric acid cycle we get the following 3 X NADH 1 X FADH2 1 X GTP. 1 NADH is equivalent to 3 ATP molecules when run down the ETC. ( 3 x 3 = 9 ) 1 FADH2 yields 2 ATP ( 1 x 2 = 2 ) 1 GTP molecule is equivalent of 1 ATP. So a total of 9+2+1=12 ATP in the end per Acetyl CoA in Citric Acid Cycle.
