:roll: Hi,
I am an IMG into surgical practice for the last 15 years in India. I had the oppurtunity to visit the US this month and was impressed by the work environment here. I want to take the USMLE. Can somebody tell me where to start.

go to the ECFMG website.. you will find there information about the STEPS and how to apply to the STEPS.. if you decide to take step 1 first.. buy the FIRST AID, the first section is a guide about how to prepare for the exam and what is tested.. good luck!

prepare copies of your medical diploma and transcripts..around $800, then start studying..these forums have many suggestions for books to read. good luck doc!!
