why is the answer C.....how does measles change PPD readings?I think its reye's syndrome.

measles suppresses cell mediated immunity, can lead to false negetive PPD
reye's syndrome at 18 yrs of age???

Oh...thanks mani.....I was not aware that measles suppresed CMI....would you know the mechanism....any other infection I should be aware of which suppresses immunity(apart from HIV)???

only one i can recall at the moment is measles. it impairs T cel function. Immunoglobulins are unimpaired
