I applied to 47 programs in surgery all over the country. I got 6 int and 16 rejections. The rest of the programs didn't answer. I guess it is over. I don't think I could receive anything else other than more rejections at this point. Though I know the interview performance is an important factor in order to be ranked well, I'd like to know if I have enough int to get s chance to match.

i got an interview call yesterday....so u never know
i applied in family practise though....i dont know if that makes a difference
anyways.....dont lose hope

I applied in December in primary care fields and got 5 interviews appointments so far. I was in doubt if I would get any. But I think some applicants cancel interviews at the end of the "interview-season".

don't lose hope..just wait, or contact the programs..a program coordinator told me that it's not a bad idea to contact a program and ask about your status..in fact, i got an interview that way!!
