Lasix and Ethcrynic acid are both "high ceiling" diuretics but clinically have at least 2 distinct differences. Can anyone name those 2 differences??(I dont want to hear that ethacrynic acid is given I.V. that dosent count!!!!)

Ethacrynic acid: 1. greater efficacy 2. more side effects than Furosemide (if this is what u're looking for.......not sure what you meant by "clinically different")
