Can someone briefly describe the steps involved in single strand DNA repair?

Ok i'll answer it then First step Glycosylase recognizes and removes the mutation. Endonuclease makes a break near the mutated region, towards the 5' side. Exonuclease takes this broken piece out. DNA polymerase fill the piece in by making the appropriate bases. Ligase joins them.
