Kiran ,i will subscribe q bank again on 15th.
For now i am doing goljan.its feeling pretty good.
As till now i am still not in very good condition.Feeling very low because of the same.I should have got finished with exam by now.But i am still not in a confident position also.
anyway....need to work out something.
Doing immunlogy .everything seems boring now.
What are rapid review series for individal subject?has anybody tried?are they good?Are they all by Dr Goljan?

take your own time to come out of the loss.take a break ....dont worry about the studies.but once if you start studying then then just concentrate on studies.i know its difficult but you have to get thru ...rt.
subcribe the question bank only after you feel that you are ready to hit the books.

I am again back to kaplan books.This time i want to finish everything in one go .I wonder how the american students do it in 1 month time.so do we can!
And after this man month's reading ,reading & reading...i am in this position atleast.
So friends i started with the killer(pharmac) and in between i read behavioral( the bad one...!).
Looking for high yield things and noting down it in a notebook. Eerything which i come across while reading books or doing questions.
Lets hope it will work.

Today it is 18th ,and i am still on kaplan books.Makes me insane.But thats my condition. needed t look into the books forever because of irregularities in studies.
Today i will start doing kaplan qbank again from a cd.
I will like to do it topic/subject wise ,i think it may boost high yield areas and will make me more aware how to do & what is important in this test.
So be it...
I am starting with pharmacology.
I will do FA pharmacology,will see few things in kapaln and then will do questions.
Wish me good luck.
I think i will assess myself with NBME exam only.

I am writing here after agian long time.
Meanwhile i did mol biology and genetics(i mean revised).
I want to do as much questions as possible for mol biology.Its my killer subject,somehow i feel i am not clear with concepts.Anyway,i have to find solution.Chatting with someone is a good idea and will help me for sure.Thats how am trying to oversome all things.
Now i will run for some household shopping... ..bye everybody!

it wud be really great if people can join our discussion.yesterday was really great.
here is one of my idea......just make a schedule of your own and post it in the support forum and just see how many responses you get.
coming to me as i have said yesterday i think i can make it only on alternate days or twice a week due to time factor.i need to cover all the kaplan books once again and hence its taking me forever as i'm a very slow reader.

I was busy with setting chat schedule on internet.
So again felt lazy to write in diary.
Meanwhile i listened goljan cardi lectures again.I did 50 questions per day from qbank.
And yes,i read some immuno,though haven't completed it yet.
Tonight i will complete my immunology from kaplan plus FA.
Tomorrow i will read anatomy ,will think in final perspective .I will try to collect high yield things from qbank also.The things must to remember.
anyway,happy studying everybody!

Yes,i have sent my application/i mean form 183,if it reaches before 31st (which it shd according to Fedex people),i will get may onward slot.but if i miss it then i will have to wait till june.

Yes ,i am solving question..but not from qbank.I am doing qbook.I never did it.It kind of makes me bore.But i will finish it.
I am kind of reserving q bank question for after this revision.
I will do Rapid review for practise till then.
I am doing subjectwise.After ths reading i will start qbank randomly.I am not going ot take online qbank this time.I will buy cd and will do it.

thanks for the post. I got pretty jacked up last night and I am a lot more relaxed today --> but also nausated from hangover.
try to concentrate, keep up the good work and memorize as much as you can. you never know when it pops up on the exam.

its been in real supportive group.I was just feeling very lazty to write here.Though sometime i was reading the posts of you guys.
Nothing remakable improvement happening in my performance.I have ended up paying for the exam,and will get may-june-july lot.But i dont know which date to decide.I am just waiting till orange permit comes.
Anyway,i will take nbme part1 on 15th.when r u taking it?
Right nw am playing with pharmac,when i will be champ in it?oh man!

good job in picking up mrs for micro, that book is key! If there was any section on my exam that I am not worried on, it is micro and I do have to say, a lot of it is because of that book. Read it a couple of times just to get the mnemonics down.

that I loved immunology in kaplan. I thought the immunology and biochem (molecular and metabolism, and genetics) where the best of the kaplan books. They were some of the best subjects I've read for biochem and immuno in all of my studies throughout my basic sciences.

how are you doing now?
I just wanted to ask you,what is a good estimation of how uch you are prepared?I am a last minute reader,anxiety makes me go through the toughest ones.Never was a person to study hard for months.So i am just not sure what am i doing now.I mean i am missing some intensity.Also as i haven't got orange permit,can't set the date.Or it would have been added some tension and force.
So how many days before real exam one shd take NBME?I mean lot of guys discussed here,but i need u to say it again. I hope NBME will give me close idea of real thing.
Anyway thanks for ur advice berk,i hope you will be always there to help us in need till exam.

okay about nbme. I didn't think that it was close to my exam at all. you read my exam experience, it was a disaster. My particular exam was very tough and very different from nbme. I thought my exam was harder than qbank for sure. Sure there were a few themes repeated from nbme and qbank. But on a whole it was very different. What I got from nbme is the feeling that I got a good a score. Since everyone believes so highly on the suppossed correlation, and I got a the score I wanted on the nbme, I feel better now during the waiting period. Seriosly, if I had not taken the nbme, I would feel like I failed the exam. (thanks again wombat!)
You would be okay using nbme anytime during your final 2-3 weeks before the exam. I hope you understand my basis for using nbme. On the other hand, had a failed the nbme, and after taken the real exam, I would feel like I for sure had to repeat the exam in a few months.

Even i am thinking of the nbme before 2-3 weeks of the real one.
As days are going i am feeling like becoming lazy, imean the tnsion is building up but as haven't set exam date makes me feel still lazy.
Anyway,i hope orange permit will arrive to me next week.and i wll be all set.
ok guys,i will go back to immunology which i didnt finish yesterday.Rather i didnt study well today.Was totally distracted.There was some festival,and good food...ooof...!!!watched a movie in frustation in the evening.
Now need to sit whole night atleast to cover up the things.

Hi everybody...
Not writing here regularly as always. :?
Tomorrow i might receive my orange ermit and i wil schedule the final date.finally....!
I am waiting for it..really.
Nowadays (since last week) i think my concentration is on the peak.I guess the anxiety of getting permit and scheduing the exam date is working for me.Ofcourse the money paid also works for me.I need to make good use of all money i invested in this big project.
So for now,i am working on my weak subjects.And i have decided i will not leave them till i get a comfort level.So for now i will be doing biochem,mol.biology,genetics,immunology.I am not going to leave them till i score well in question.Is just remembering the things well,but thats where i am lacking .I need to work on it.So i will now come back with some goodnews with these killers.I am not gonna write exam till i settle with them.
Wish me luck guys,to finish this test as soon as possible.
will go back to books now.
No internet surfing....no chitchatting......nothingonly books for next one month.
