Hi all...
I was not well ,suffering from viral...Its so bad.Y'day and day before y'day i was not able to sit also for long time.Today i am feeling better.Hope to join back my study schedule.
Anyway..i will continue with Mol biology.
Kiran.,i didnt subscribe kaplan qbank.Will take it when i will feel totally fit.For now i am feeling strange sort of weakness.Maybe within next 1-2 days i will be in position to subscribe it.

Thanks moc,angel and kiran....your wishes really helped me feel better.I was feeling ok in the morning time and as day goes along i use to become sick again.Evenings were nightmare for me with high running fever.I hope i am completely ok now.Yesterday evening it was very mild fever.Though i still have got cold and cough.
Feeling so bad about studies. Managed to revise pharmac,but not fully.Heard some webprep lectures on genetics.
Went through behavioral initially in hope to join Niti's chat schedule,but couldnt catch up.
Anyway i subscribed kaplan qbank this morning and hope to do 100 questions per day.Have made a seperate notebook for the missing points i will come across while solving those questions. Ideally i should write it down in FA or Kaplan but i am too lazy person...atleast i will write somewhere.
Anyway guys ...i am with you in this journey.At the end of this month i want to pay ecfmg and schedule a date.Hoping for the best.

Hi everybody!
I was not well for last few days.Had got flu.Now well. But lost lot of time.I couldnt cope up with my plan to do the qbank questions 100/day.Have finished 440 questions till now.A big task ahead.Feeling very depressed friends.Besides the weather is also so bad and depressive.
Anyway...i was feeling well on tuesday only.Still was trying to cope up with the thingsand didnt write anything in diary.But still i couldnt cover anything.
I think i should first concentrate on qbank.or i will lose my money.I want to finsh it fast and then want to revise marked questions.
Havent read others posts yet......angel might have finished her test till now.Hey Moc ,nice going man.Your planning is good.How was your internal test?
Kiran ,how are you doing? I guess i should first look into your posts.

Good to see you back from your illness. Being sick and having bad weather is enough to make anyone depressed. It will pass. Good planning for the Qbank - when I can't study from my books or am not feeling well, I do questions. How long is your subscription for? If you have a 3 month period, then you still have time to finish all 2,100+ questions plus the questions you got wrong. :_online_: :icon_study: Keep going, perserverence always prevails.

What's the latest from QBank, BTW? There are around 2500 questions, right? So if you've already done 440 it's still ok. You can do it!

I always feel good to be on this forum to see your messages.To read what you guys doing.It gives me a warm feeling. To read your encouraging messages in my diary. I think its just a big family of people who never metbut still feel close to each other.

Today i will revise immunology and will do 100 questions.
More than that is jsut not possible for me.
Moc,there are total 2100 questions in qbank.
Till now i have avg score of 52%.i definitely need to work on it.I think starting the morning with qbank is a good idea.Then in the afternoon i can go in the topics where i made mistakes and ,night for FA .
I need to revise immuno today. I suck in it and in mol biology.These are scary subjects for me.
Anyway friends,i will move back to studies.
Feel so grateful to have you all on this forum.

Hi Krushna,
I like your honesty. We all have subjects that we suck at. :? Mine was and still is pharmacology. Keep at it until you feel more comfortable with it. 52% isn't bad for a starting score at Qbank. Learn your immunology well - there are several questions on it on the actual exam. Good plan for studying.

Hi all!
How are you doing ?
I am still on immunology.Did my quota of 100 questions,so a bit happy.
This schedule is working for me.Early morning after getting up ,i start with qbank and then work on explainations and missed one.
At the end of the day ,i was not able to finsih my assigned job.But still at this point i am unable to cross 100.I get so tired.
Anyway no complaints,lets study hard!

How r u?You r doing well & putting your score here on the Forum is really a courageous thing...even high or low...no matter ..u have to ans. all sorts of Qs...but,in one way its good too
Your 52% score is cumulative..rt?It always change when u do other Qs ??I have a Q about this...now, since I started doing Qs...I saw lots of Qs in Forums etc....some r straight from QBANK ...which I have already done !...so, now it can affect real score...what do u think?The same thing about NBME qS ( SOMETIME PEOPLE POST THESE QS WITHOUT SAYING THAT THESE R nbme Qs..) & Once u do them all...your NBME score will not be true...?
Ok,so final thing I want to ask everybody...Do u have any idea how often Kap or NBME people change their Qs ?

starting the day with Questions is a very good idea....but just try to stick to it....even i planned it that way but as usual i'm not following it.
and 52%in the initial stages is not bad i believe.you can improve a lot.you have a very good determination....thats very important for this exam....you will definetly get a very high score later.
did you take the date for ur exam?when are u planning for it?

I haven't paid the amount and sent application yet.Just want to be sure before paying the big amount.I am still aiming for first week of march.Lets hope,everything wil go smooth.
I am doing biochemistry...was supposed to fisnih immunology,but i didnt.Something came in my mind while solving the questions and i got stuck to biochem. I need to move fast now.Time is running.
Anyway planning to hear goljan again from today.Have stopped hearing it meanwhileI think i was missing the important thread in my preperation.
Did 2 blocks .1st block 62% ,2nd block 49%  .
ok....lets finsh biochem for now.

Hi Krushna,
Good plan. Biochemistry is an easy point earning subject on the actual exam. As I told Moc, pay special attention to the rate limiting enzymes and end products of each cycle (TCA, gluconeogenisis, urea cycle, etc) as you study. Know your enzyme deficiencies. All of these are fair game for the actual exam.

hey
krushna. i posted the same thing in my dairy....but i'm posting the same thing here in ur dairy ...dont feel nervous....just do which ever you feel is good for you....coming pathology i'm using just goljan...i did not find kaplan worth for pathology.so what i did for patho is just hear goljan and take notes along with the lectures.but now i got a set of notes from my friend ....goljas pathology...i dont know whats the name of the text book as its xeroxed copy,but its going well with the lectures.
i heard that BRS is very good....but i would advice you stick to one book eithr goljan or BRS....as you are in ur second reading(i hope),my advice is follow goljan its more than sufficient...this is what i have learned from many others.well if you carefully take notes along with the lectures you can cover everypoint that is present in the notes i said before. if it wuld have been me...i would stick to goljan and kaplan.... :lol: :lol: :lol:
