I took step 2 CS in LA on the 3rd Sept.
When checking with the ECFMG the results from exams in June are not corrected yet. They estimate the results to come in January, which makes it impossible to apply to ERAS this year for me. ](*,)
I lean to my motto, but it feels a bit like a brick wall in my face right now. Step 2 and step 1 are already done.
Does anyone know if it is possible (and sensible) to apply to the NRMP without applying to the ERAS first?

hi.i'm not sure i gunderstannd what you mean but if you are talking of applying for residency positions through eras, then of course you can register and apply.i took my cs in mid october and no result yet and i have applied to programs and i have some interview calls. so if thats ur question,then you had better get to applying right now cos time's a wasting.it will soon be too late.
it is possible to register with nrmp without registering with eras.but to what end?if it is to scramble,i'm not too sure but i think its advisable to still register with eras and send them your documents so it will be ready early enough for the postmatch scramble.

I am just finding that the programs that I want to apply to all require ECFMG certification before their deadline (15th of November) to apply via the ERAS.
I have good results 93 and 99 and I am wondering if it will be possible to get a position through the NRMP without interviewing or getting any priorities?

Dr.J, match NRMP is one , which is done after ur interviews...with out interviews u can not participate in match..that's what i understood ...
u have very good scores...though it is late to apply for this match...u can still try..checking program dead line and calling programs to know if they still accept applications...? and recruiting for interviews...if u can not afford to wait for another year...send ur documents immediately to ERAS..becos scanning and uploading takes 10 days...
