I took step 2 CS in LA on the 3rd Sept.
When checking with the ECFMG the results from exams in June are not ready yet. They estimate the results to come in January, which makes it impossible to apply to ERAS this year for me. ](*,)
I lean to my motto, but it feels a bit like a brick wall in my face right now.

Hi,
I did called ECFMG today to confirm about what you are saying .
It seems the first batch of results will be released in last week of Nov .They don't know about the number of months included in it.But for sure we can think June,july and august atleast .Once they release first batch of results ,they say they will release other batches more frequently.They didn't said it would be January,ofcourse not ,since they already mentioned applicants taking cs after dec 31st won't be garanteed to participate in match .
I still think positively that we will get it around Dec atleast .InshAllah.
Though i took it on 2nd october :roll: :?

HEY guys i totally understand yr situation ..i hope u guys get ur results in time so dat u can apply for the match in time . wish u luk ..
since you are done with everything i need a bit of info about ERAS ..my step 1 is comin up in a fw days followed by my step 2 CS in dec and i plan to go for the post match 2005 if at all i get my CS results sometime in jan .bt my concern is i hav not yet registerd with ERAS ..wot is the last day to do so ? WOT OTHER for malities are to b completed with eras ..statement etc ..pls guide me .

Rumours are abound on other fora that CS results, probably for June/ July/ August may be released today, and others to follow more like step 1 and CK - I remain sceptical, yet hope this urban myth has some substance....

I sure hope so , waiting so much is killing me,sometimes i just want them to tell me that i failed and get all over with....
i did the exam in early september and 3 months of waiting can give you a real headache,i really hope that the rumer is true

I would like to add my concerns as well since I took the exam on 14th August!!! I wish th erumour is true..even if vaguely close to today!

Hi,
Can someone please guide me. I applied for CS, then I got email that my application is approved and I need to schedule the date. I took the date for my exam. I checked oasis today and I saw the they had sent the scheduling permit on correct address on 29th october, and I havent got it yet. What should I do??? I didnt know that there is any scheduling permit for CS.
I am worried. Please reply!

There is NO sceduling permit for CS by mail.... I got only e-mail notification that it has been approved, and then went to OASIS and sceduled the date.. You shoud be able to do that right now...

I already have taken the CS date. But I read somewhere that we need to take scheduling permit in to the exam room, thats why I was worried. I checked notification email from ecfmg which i got many days ago, it is a "scheduling permit" So I will print that mail.
Are you done with your exam??

Can any one please tell me if the result is declared in December, what are the chances of getting H1 VISA for June 2005 residency???

Hi,
Can any one please confirm that is it correct that there is no scheduling permit in paper form for CS, that they mail you. Is email one is the only scheduling permit they sent to you?? Just want to make sure from you guys.

Yes - you only get e-mail permit . Ijust took the exam . They wanted the copy of this e-mail permit and copy of Scheduling permit . So print out the e-mail permit and also print out copy when you schedule the actual exam and get the date . Take both with you to the exam .

Most recent rumor is that the result is about 56% for FMG's which is far lower then step 1 and 2 CK. I hope its not true. Already spend a lot on Residency process.

The results are delayed but applying will not be affected. It may cause a problem getting the Californian letter for me though.

Asmi: Rumors are rumors. Some other applicants said that. I did not belive them either because SamiSyed is correct....how can one know since the results are not out yet?
I personally ignored it but when saw on forum people discussing rumors I just put in in here. I am scared to death too and pray everyday that this is not the truth. Keep your fingers crossed and wait for the results. Wish you all best
