Hi.I have a few questions regarding applying to residency programs . 1.Is it possible for an img to match in radiology/ob gyn/surgery?( in good programs say Baylor/Mayo/Cleveland/Michigan Ann Arbor) 2. What points make a cv strong? How much do research publications, student academic awards and fellowships matter? 3.I have heard that it is becoming more and more difficult for imgs to secure fellowship positions. Is this true? I shall be highly grateful if someone could answer these Qs for me.

1) possible, yes. Likely no. Cleveland Clinic is very IMG friendly for IM. Don't know about surg. Baylor probably wouldn't take you 2)good step scores, US CE, US LoR, good school, young age, recent graduation, publications, awared 3)yes, but many still get them
