Cystic Fibrosis = Some people would argue its frameshift, but according to path robbins, its missense. Sickle cell anemia

I think cystic fibrosis is an in-frameshift mutation??But I've seen those discussion where the closest possible answer to a similar situation was missense.

two examples of missense mutation: 1.sickle cell 2.marfan's cystic fibrosis is surely not frameshift / or missense in CF there is a deletion of 3 bases -so 1 aminoacid = phenylalanine- is completely lost in missense mutation you have a change in the codon --> different aminoacid so again you can not say that CF is a missense mutation

its not frame shift I agree as for this to happen you can't have deletions of multiple of 3 but when you do have a deletion involving multiples of 3 its called as in-frame mutation.
