dear bbb,
i got an interview for IM , & PD inviting for a dinner with residencies, the night b-fr the interview.
is it necessary to go for the dinner? since its only 1 hr travel frm my place, i prefer to go on the day of interview, but i dont know is that fair not to go for the dinner & direc tly go fr interview in the morning?
please tell me ur opinion, which is better, to go the day b-for or on the day of interview..
i wonder there's any advatage when i go & accept the dinner party....or else i will b kicked out??

I really enjoy the dinners. They are a wonderful opportunity to talk with the residents and see how they feel about the program. I don't think PD's would know if you didn't go. But it is for your benefit to go.
