Chlamydia and Rickettsia are obligate intracellular parasites. WHY?? what do they need from host cell???<:help:>

rickettsia needs CoA and NAD,it produces a little ATP by itself, but consumes cell's ATP as well.
Chlamydia doesn't produce ATP at all, so it depends on that from the cell.

Because they can only reproduce if they enter another cell....
