hi bbb and friends in forum..

i see PG-Y1 positions in most places in internal medicine more than PGY-2 and 3...what does this mean?..after finishing PG-Y1 we may get a chance to continue in their program or not?..is this PGY1 equivalent to preliminary year?..please help

It's a pyramidal program. Avoid these if possible.

thanks bbb.. but if i do PG-Y1 is it equivalent to preliminary year?...can i try speciality next year...??
