 That´s It!
I dont know what is so wrong with me.
Everybody is writing they already got interviews, then there are the cocky ones asking if people think that a 95 score in the usmle´s is enough!
I have so far recieved only a few rejection letters but no invitations to interviews!
I am really sad now  , I am actually asking myself if the year spent preparing and taking the boards was worth it...

You are not alone.
I believe that by posting the number of interviews they have, people want to share their joy but also the anxiety that comes with every new or unknown situation like that. Your turn will eventually come and we will be happy to hear from you. Prayers and Patience.

Most programmes will start to review their applications in November/December. Only the few who offer prematches review theirs in September/October. Just hang in there. If in doubt, do apply for more programmes.

How are most people being notified about interviews? Is it by snail mail (letter), e-mail, or phone calls?
Thanks.

Most program coordinators that I know about are only using email for notifications. It's built into ERAS and easy to use.

Make certain that your invites might not be sent to your bulk mail box because ERAS is a bulk mailer and your email might be putting the invites in the wrong place.

(And no, I don't know how to do this - I know that it's set up through your email provider sad )

How long do programs take to respond after receiving an application?

  #7

That is going to vary from program to program - impossible to give a generic answer. sad
