heloo everybody..hope success 4 all u docs
infact,,I am an IMG graduated at summer 2003 with final grade of (GOOD)
I am an american citizin too since i born in the USA.
I am preparing to come to the usa at mid november 2004..exactly to Texas.
Since i have no experience..I am asking for any information concerning working while i,m preparing for the usmle..especially at hospitals or any health sector..i have enough time for study.

They said that a job in research is very helpful. Something in research that involves patient contact. I think you'll be able to find one in Texas. I hope this helps:-)

I am now studying for my medical boards. I have also studied in Holland, finished a masters in health services research after doing my medical school in Pakistan. I studied my primary and secondary school from Africa, Asia and here in the States.
Let me know if you want some help. My first advise, if you can afford not to work and just study for your exams, then do it! I am a little on the hyper side, ADD and need full focus on one thing at a time. So, work and study doesnt work for me.

you can find a job if you have a working permit but if you mean working in a pharmacy as a pharmacist, then you need to have a degree as a pharmacist and be certified here. Otherwise, you can be a salesman in a pharamcy but not sell drugs though, other grocery items which they sell here in all pharamcies.
