Hi,
are we supposed to shake hands when we enter the room? In my culture we would, but how about in the USA?
Pleas help, as I will have exam on 11/2 ....

Sure you can....you may have some patients where you cant shake their hands, b/c of the encounter, but otherwise, read the patient....some may offer their hand, while some may sit there with their hands one on top of the other and just give you a head nod. What ever makes you comfortable to establish a dr-pt relationship.
