Is prelim year and transitional year the same? What the difference if I apply for transitional year, or prelim in some specialty, can it be any?
Like what is better prelim in IM, prelim in Surgery, prelim in FP( and etc.) or pure transitional year? What is easier to get into? What the difference?
If I apply for prelim in IM (for instance), do I specify that in application, I mean that I don't need 3 year program there, but just the first year?
Does it exist anything like specific prelim for ophthalmology or it can be any?
Well, it is all new for me, and I don't have any friends dealing with it, so please, somebody clarify it for me.
Thanks a lot!
